Okay,
I stripped the splines from the plastic lever on a Swiss DT RWS 10mm through axle. Replaced it with a NC17 10mm quick release axle and promptly snapped the lever on it's first outing whilst doing it up by hand.
Are there any alternatives I should consider? It doesn't have to be a QR, bolts would do.
And contrary to what the above suggests I'm not typically heavy on kit
Cheers

MTB DIRECT do an excellent 10mm hollow bolt which is really light, and Superstar do a 10mm QR, hope that's some help...

well my NC-17 one has been excellent so far kept nice and tight through a week in the alps and survived the mega
i also have a chumba racing one thats a bit chunkier and heavier than the nc-17 but seems to work just as well in my hands
it looks very much like the ones you can get from superstar

and at that price you could buy 2!
After reading a previous thread on here I ordered the Hadley one. Ariived from the States within a week and is a very nice thing.
Cheers
