Hoping to get away to the Alps next summer for a family friendly holiday. Will be six of us with two small kids under 2 (that sounds so much worse when you see it in text!). Previously been to Morzine, Verbier and Chamonix but never with kids. Anyone got any recommended resorts and/or Chalets/Apartments?

Ta!

We did Mayrhofen with a six month old and was great. I reckon that Chamonix would be a good bet. Big town and you can do some nice walking between lift stations on either side of the valley so no lugging toddlers to far up or down mountains. As well as walking / biking up the valley along the river to Argentiere. In fact I might do just that next year.

We took our 10 month old to Kitzbuhel. It's not the most rugged of resorts, but that works in your favour, since you can go up the cable cars with a buggy and do some easy strolls quite high up. Nice town too and there was a bike firm running out of our hotel renting Kona Dawgs ๐Ÿ˜€

I was thinking Chamonix would be a good bet as there is loads in town as well. Never done any riding round about though. I've been told it's either super easy or super steep in Cham? Would prefer lift assisted XC with a bit of pansy gnarl downhill thrown in. Portes Du Soleil type stuff.

We've been going to Morzine since the nipper were born - now 5 and 8....there's plenty to do, trips up the mountain, days at the pool etc. The wife gets fed up before the boys....
