Heading out to the Alps this summer for a week with the missus. Taking the bikes, however she isnt into downhill/too crazy routes. I was thinking Morzine/Les Gets.. but looking online/reading reviews, not sure she will handle it.
So basically i need somewhere with nice singletrack, all mountain style riding and avoidable downhill/harder routes if poss!
Any suggestions? Thanks!
I think you will be OK with Morzine, there are loads of fire roads and gentler stuff for her..
You can quite easily send her down a fireroad and you go down a singletrack and meet at the bottom etc..

try these guys. i went last year and they took peopkle out of all levels and on occasion split the group to let the more confident riders take on some steeper harder fun trails. plus great food and very nice people
We went ot Morzine when my other half was a newbe MTB'er and she coped fine riding a hard tail with 80mm of bounce up front.
We used a combination of the Bikefax guide and the trail maps you can buy from the tourist information to find our way round and never struggled.
There's a book called 'Mountain Biking Europe' which I'd recommend to help you make your decision - lots of really useful info. I was looking at Bourg St Maurice/Les Arcs or Chamonix as being ideal from my perspective.
