Just called LloydsTsb insurers AXA, they've changed the cover and dh mtb is no longer covered or an option. Sneaky as they didn't send out a change of cover notice..

so who to use?

Does the activity of "cycling (but not in a race)" not mean they cover you then?

WTF! I rang them a few weeks ago enquiring about MTB'ing in alps and they told me it was covered. I will ring them! thanks for the heads up - how can they change it just like that, I could have been out there now.

Just rang them and they had it on record, me ringing them the other week and asking about MTB insurance. For this reason they are honouring my MTB cover - but yes LloydsTSB gold/plat/prem insurance no longer covers MTB'ing. Lucky I phoned a while back then!
They should be sending out a letter to customers regarding this. It was a very recent change

Thanks for the heads up jsm ๐Ÿ™‚
