Anyone tried Alpkits Kura saddle?

I'm a big fan of the Charge spoon on my MTBs but do not find it as comfy on the road/gravel bikes, I've had a fairly long stint with the Fabric Scoop (shallow) on my road bike but find that I tend to get bruised, more so on the gravel bike.

The Kura looks pretty good in that it claims to be suitable for shifting about for on and off road, no stitching, and look at the 2D picture seems to give me the impression it has a bit more padding than the Scoop?!

The other option is the Charge Pan but its a bit pricey, and I saw a couple of reviews that said riders missed the cut out relief groove for the perineum.  Doing a 6 day tour into France in a couple of weeks so leaning towards a tad more padding than the Spoon and Scoop.  Long term it will live on a gravel bike that does more offroad than on, so needs to be able to take a few knocks and survive getting mud ground into it.

Would welcome any other alternatives.  Thanks

Its quite a distinctive shape, perhaps its sold by other brands under a different name, might be able to find some reviews if it is 🙂

The other option is the Charge Pan but its a bit pricey,

In a moment of rashness i fitted a pan untested to my bike the night before dirty reiver two years ago. It was the designery one which looks better ( read cheapest as it was discontinued i think)

Didn't notice it the whole way round like completely unaffected arse despite never being in the saddle that long before and infact the whole undercarriage was dickity-boo Its been round twice now . Now generally my arse is unfussy* but thats a significant achievement.

Your arse may totally differ though but i'd reccommend atleast a shot.

*Except a charge funnily enough!

Just reminded myself that the Kura is £45 so actually more expensive than the Pan!

Josh, thanks for your comments 🙂

So that's 1:0 to the Pan so far...

Shape and construction look a bit like the Raceface Aeffect although that saddle is longer and narrower.

The Charge Pan looks a dead ringer for the original SDG Bel Air, especially the view from the side - looks identical panel for panel with the old one I have lying in the shed.

yeh I thought it looked similar (but not the same) as one of the Raceface models.  I'm leaving on my trip next week so have gone for the Pan as the 'safe' option.  Thanks guys
