Any real world experience between these two? The Lomo seems like a great price but I have been offered the Alpkit Koala for only a little more second hand. Any other budget saddle packing seat bags to consider?
This will be my first and hopefully used for weekend/several day-long trips as well as my daily commute carry clothes/lunch.

Both those will be decent, and bearbones gave a good review of the Lomo. I've got an on-one Podsacs seatpack for £15 and its really good value - waterproof, durable, well built, and mounts well.
I've got a Koala.
It's fine, but I bought it before bikepacking was mainstream and there were any budget options, I doubt there's much in it between a Koala and some of the cheaper options, or the more expensive ones for that matter.
The big advantage of alpit was it was made to order and you could pick the colours!
Had a Lomo seemed like a good piece of gear. Had to sell it as bumping on my tyre. This was my fault for not measuring not the bags. Got Alpkit handlebar dry bag which is good. Ended up with an Ortlieb seat post bag thanks to Tesco vouchers and Evans.
the lomo can't be worse than the koala 😉
I have the Lomo. It worked very well on its only bikepacking adventure, but it needs to be full and well compressed to stop it swaying. I got a sleeping bag, mat and change of clothes in there.
The Lomo is a true monster of a pack.

A mate has emailed Lomo and told them to make the straps more adjustable so it'll handle smaller loads but they say that no one else has reported this as a problem.
