Thinking about adding internal cable routing to an "AL-13 premium triple butted frame" .. no idea what alloy that is or what heat treatment so exploring gluing (or alu soldering depending on heat) some cable ports to maintain strength to some degree.
Its been 18 years since I sat in a materials science lecture so I could be grasping at straws with my plans

Steel builders get all manner of catalogue braze ons, drop outs, head tubes etc but I haven't found anyone supplying alu parts.

any ideas?

On my son's Commencal frame I just drilled and filed out a slot hole and clipped in a plastic "port" to route his internal reverb.

At the headtube/downtube or seat tube/BB zone?

Ceeway has some new options part way down this page (just after the tapered steel steerer tube) - says they are two piece with a glue-in outer part for carbon and aluminium.

Edit - reading again says they are for di2 - not sure if the hole will be big enough for a cable / hose. Might be worth dropping them an email as they might consider getting other options in stock.
