[Closed] Alloy welding repairers recommendation?

I’ve got a hairline crack about 8-10mm long in the weld near the main pivot of the lower chainstay on my Canyon Nerve.
Can anyone recommend someone who can weld alu alloy? Doesn’t have to be pretty; just sound.
I’m in West Yorkshire.
It is stripped down and can be posted.
Thanks.

Argos racing cycles in Bristol have always been amazing, not cheap but amazing! It would involve posting but there be somewhere closer I’m sure

Alloy welding is fine, its getting it heat treated afterward.

I had a chainstay on an alu. SS welded by Vernon Barker Cycles, just south of Sheffield.

No heat treating was done and it's still going 10 years later.

I got a salsa horsethief welded years ago and a brace put in. I did straffpuffa on it after and used it for 6 months and it was fine.

Everywhere said it needed heat treating but it wasn't cost effective. I decided where it was wouldn't cause a major problem if it snapped again and risked it.

I thought alloy welding had gotten a lot easier since "Durafix Easyweld" type Rods got invented ?

Can you post a picture of the defect? I could probably do it. What series alloy is it?
