in a very vain way I have seen a frame I really want, in a colour I don’t like. Like the look of raw alloy bikes so thinking being it’s cheap as last years model I could strip it, get it clear coated and be happy. Don’t want to just get a local sand blaster to do it as I’m worried it would be too abrasive.

Anyone done it? Is there a good diy method or we talking soda/some other media blasting?

Wurth gasket remover. Spray on, paint bubbles, peel off paint.

Expensive frame? It will void the warranty. Could always wrap it or spray it with plasti-dip which can the be peeled off should you need to.

Ooh never thought about the warranty. It’s expensive at retail but not at half price! I could just deal with the colour it’s not that bad just not what I would pick

Nitromors was OK on an old frame of mine.  Needed a bit of elbow grease to help it along with som scraping and emery cloth, but no effect on the metal.
