Wondered if I could remember mine. Here they are (I think):

red thing with stabilisers (raleigh apple?)
blue resprayed thing
raleigh commando with red trim round the tyres
childs road bike - tatty blue respray - drop bars - good for skids
giant hurricane (the bug bit)
chrome BMX (very cool)
green then purple BMX (also cool - 2 resprays)
raleigh peak
marin eldridge grade
road bike that was too small that had a great blue/white/pink fade paint job that I crashed on buxton road
kinesis maxlight
saracen zen
airborne carpe diem
orange patriot
turner 5 spot
pipedream sirius

what are yours then?

he he, I don't have all night. It'd just be a much bigger list. Probably something to be ashamed of.

Funnily enough I was sat at my Mum's last night counting all my bike builds since getting into MTB in 1991, when after announcing that I'd bought yet another new frame, she asked if I knew how many I'd built. Yes, I did make a list . . . no, I'm not going to post it ๐Ÿ˜ณ . . . and today's build was number 100! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

It's a sign!

GW - Just a personal mental experiment wondering if you can remember all your bikes. I don't think I can - pretty close but not there entirely.

Anyway, no need to be a dick eh?

el_bouf - I wasn't actually even replying to you, but now you've got my attention I actually can remember every single bike I've ever owned since I was 4yrs old, it's well over 150 but there's not a chance I'm typing them out for strangers to (not) read. FWIW I didn't even read your list when I opened your thread, I've ridden thousands of other peoples bikes too and can probably remember every one of those, ironically now I've actually read your list I see you don't even remember the paltry amount you yourself have owned making it even duller (or should that be interesting?) than I ever could have imagined. if that makes me a dick in your eyes then so be it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ps. "a personal mental experiment" should probably stay in your own head ๐Ÿ˜›

Ooh, get you... Bet you can't!

El bouf, ignore GW, he's obviously got out of the wrong side of bed this morning. I was interested enough to read your list, but can't remember all my childhood bikes. (only had/still have three 'adult' bikes).

I haven't had that many, they've just increased exponentially in value. ๐Ÿ˜†

Raleigh Styler BMX (white and gold, amazing);
Diamond Back Sorrento (first mountain bike, not great but did the job);
Some no name steel frame mountain bike from local shop (actually not great so was quite pleased when it got nicked so I could get:);
Trek 970 (first decent mountain bike and one that I used, abused and loved);
On One Scandal (got back into biking more seriously again, commuting and mountain biking on it);
On One Pompino (proper commuting/town everything bike and probably the one I've done most miles on);
Merlin Works 4.0 (the pinnacle of my bike ownership to date, absolutely love this bike ๐Ÿ™‚ );
On One Pompetamine (evolution of the Pompino, fantastic bike as well).

Loved them all!

I only learnt to ride a bike 4 years ago at the tender age of 30 (long story) so my bike list is quite short: -

Focus Fatboy Hardtail 2007 (stolen)
Merlin Malt 1 Hardtail
Boardman FS Team (sold)
Boardman Hybrid Team 2010

I now commute to work 4 times a week and go out on the mountain bike a couple of times a week so i am sure my list will grow ๐Ÿ˜€

15 years off bikes since school

After discovering bikes again in 2008 there has been

GT Agressor (too big)
Giant NRS(too small)
Commencal Meta
456 (I have had 3 of these)
On-one Scandal 29er
Kona Caldera
Kona Blast
Carrera TDF s road bike

and various swapping of bits and upgrading of the above (including a 69er)

I Only run 1 do-it-all bike now a Genesis Altitude which is ACE. It hasnt had the best components of previous models I have had, but it
does the commute to work, does the local woods, does trail centres, does it all (all I do anyhow)

A green machine similar to this:

[img] [/img]

followed by this beauty (once I had save up enough money):

[img] [/img]

Then one of these, only with red wheels:

[img] [/img]

Then a succession of 'racing bikes', including:

a gold CCM 3-speed with hub-gear
a white CCM 10-speed
a blue Peugeot 10-speed

Followed by my first real racing bike (a candy-apple red Bianchi):

[img] [/img]

Then a crap GT mountain bike in 1991, which got stolen and replaced with a

1994 GT outpost, which lasted until I got a
2001 Trek Fuel 90, then a
2009 Gary Fisher Big Sur
