Could anyone point me where to look for some long rides in South Wales or other areas approx. 5 hours drive from Exeter?
Ideally all-day loops. I may have a weekend for myself, so thinking about setting up a tent in a nice spot and "wasting" the whole weekend on riding.
Not looking for some technical killers (rigid HT), but any climbs are welcome. I can use a map, but I would like to know what area of the country is the best to choose for that 😆

I like the gap. Very scenic but not that tech. You can rack up some miles though. Black mountain killer loop is a bit more wild.

Was up there a few weeks ago (also from Exeter funnily enough), stopped at BPW on the way up and back to break up the trip, and did some great riding/walking in that area. Thread linked with all the top spots to include in a trip up there!
