My Alfine 8 hub has started making a creaking noise when peddling under pressure.
Anyone any ideas what could be wrong?

more likely to be any manner of other things creaking first, but Id start with drop out/OLN interface

Tighten the track nuts.

Sorry guys excuse my lack of technical knowledge. drop outs I understand but not sure what OLN & track nuts are. 😳

OLN = over lock nuts. the last bit of metal on the hub that touches the inside of the drop outs
Tracknuts = the nuts holding the hub in the dropouts.
tighten the nuts and grease interface between the hub and the drop out. The Alfine transfers torque to the frame using slotted washers. They can creak a bit.
