Can any one give advise here? I've justice. Finished setting up an alfine 8 on pompetamine and all shifts up well from 1 to 5 but once you get past five shifting down is sticky, it will not index back thru 4,3,2, etc, when you get near 1 again it suddenly jumps 5 to 1
Anytips on how to sort this? Ta,

this is usually caused a kink in the cable some where - take the inner cable out compleatly for a good look.

Sounds like a sticky inner cable, check for sharp bends or kinks in the cable route and if you have shortened the cable check for any burs on the outer or liner and finally is the cable routed ok at the hub end.
