size medium, Fox Kashima fork.
Chained up with a flimsy lock to railings just outside Exmouth town centre.

err.. I was just admiring this bike when I was out walking my dawg as it's unusual to see a Cotic around town and a brown one is very unusual (I thought that I had the only one round here).

As I was looking it over, two well known smack heads cruised past in a van and turned into to park in the church car park, before hesitating and turning around and driving off, fully eyeballing this bike.

I wouldn't leave a bike like that chained up round here at any time, and it has njow been noticed.
I hope this warning reaches the owner before anything happens to it.

Maybe it was an insurance job. You've ruined it now.

There’ll be no chasing on your watch

I miss the simpler times when I could post a vaguely amusing gif

Cappuccino Brown?  Is that an official colour?

There were two colours "espresso" and "builders tea"… but the espresso turned out more chocolate.

Well I have an espresso Cotic in Exeter too, so they're as common as muck round here it would seem...

Top work though OP, it's nice to know some people look out for each other!

Is Exmouth the bike crime capital of Devon!

One of my workmates had his bike stolen from his house in Exmouth a few months back, he had a phone call from the police recently to say they had got it back after it was used in robbery.

But that's not the end of it, it turns out the thief that originally stole it locked it up outside a shop and then somebody else came along and stole it again so it was stolen twice.

I wonder if the original thief reported it stolen 😂

I had my BMX stolen from the train station circa 15years ago, other than that I haven't heard of many bike thefts.

@yunki As a fellow resident of Exmouth, I do wonder who you are on about...?

There's a gazillion bike thefts in Exmouth oikeith.. mostly BSOs,

I think most residents with decent bikes lock 'em away out of sight, although there was a spate of shed thefts last autumn.

When you say that you wonder who I'm on about... do you mean the owner of the cotic, or the dodgy smack heads?
