Has anyone any info on flying a tandem out to Vietnam, Thailand or Cambodia

Does it fold down? If not, I suggest you contact the airline you will be flying with. A lot of the airlines that fly that way have 23kg baggage allowances and they aren't quite as au fait at flying bikes, unlike Easyjet, BA etc who regularly have bikes on board to Geneva etc. I imagine it'll be flipping hard but there will be airlines that will. I would be intruiged to know! Macygver on here might know although his tandem folds down!!

Munqe-chick Thanks for that info. It's a Cannondale MTB tandem, so we will take the forks off and wheels off but it's quite long never the less

Ours has gone on easyjet a couple of times - stripped right down its not too big - but the weight is an issue - ours is hard to get under 32 kgs in a bag with decent protection.
