Airbone dual purpose co2/mini pump - anyone tried it??

I'm looking for a tiny pump I can leave on my road bike (ideally in the seat pack) just for emergencies. I saw this and like the idea of having dual purpose - use the pump just to fill out the tube a bit for fitting, then fill it with a co2 to save the effort of pumping up to road pressures with a tiny hand pump! Can't seem to find many reviews of this though, anyone here tried it? Anything else I should look at?

Same price and lighter/smaller than a manual pump that will be useless and a co2 cart that you'll get one use from and have to carry back to put in the bin. 😉

I have a problem with any pump that doesn't have the head on a flexible hose of some sort. It's just too easy to damage the valve at the tube endย  (ask me how I know). I guess that it would be less of an issue when used in combination with the CO2 though.ย

I did think about an electric pump, how well do they hold their charge when left though? Knowing my luck I'd forget to check and then that would be the day I need it!

Pretty well in my experience so far, I don't think there's much drain (no internal clock like a phone, etc.)

I bought my flextail pump in October, charged it and stuck it in my pack and used it yesterday with no issues.

I was so intrigued by this dual purpose idea that I followed the link. What other use have they found for it.... Relieved to see that they described it as dual function not dual purpose.

To be clearย  it performs one purpose, filling your tyres with air, but the primary method it uses to do that is soย  flawed that they've had to add a secondary method alongside to make it work.
