Hi.

Have a Float CTD and was thinking I may need an volume kit.

This one

[url= http://www.mojostore.co.uk/acatalog/Air_Spring_Volume_Tuning_Kit.html ]null

Reason being that it goes through all its travel very easily.

However, doing a bit of research on my shock on the Fox website it says this

2014, FLOAT-A P-S, CTD BV LV, Norco, Sight C1/UK 7.0 A1/UK 7.0 C1, 7.875, 2.250, 0.4 Spacer, VTL, RTM, 250, 16

Which seems to say it has a 0.4 spacer already. Am I correct?

I originally setup sag at 25%. Then when I noticed the shock using up all travel I then set the pressure for my weight, about 96 kg ( can't remeber pressure off top of head) and this is about 20% sag. Still no change. Therefore looking for answers and arrived at the inserts.

Any knowledge appreciated.

Drop the pressure out of it, unscrew the can and have a look. Should be obvious if it's there.

I done this to the ctd shock on my trance. If it was in descend mode it would do most of its travel just bunny hopping up a kerb.

Whilst it made a bit of difference it still isn't perfect.

I've had to send mine off to mojo as its blown so I've asked them to custom tune it.

I did it a while ago, very simple and effective. Certainly physically easier than the same on a CCDBA, assuming the air can unscrews no bother.

Ok. Gonna do it. Anyone have any of the spare spare spacers for sale? Was thinking of the 0.6 spacer for a 2014 model. Rather than buy a complete kit. ๐Ÿ˜€
