Ok so I got an orbea loki as a bargain on bike to work. Immediately sold the cheapy rockshox that they came with on eBay and later for the same money picked up a set of Fox 34 grip things. 1st gain. Then I happened across a Genesis Tarn Frame locally for bargain price. 2nd gain! Thing is I really like the loki and I don't think the frame alone would command much money. Frame swap or not to swap...? Of course I favour the Tarn cos it's steel! All other parts are as id like them and easyly swapped. Are Orbea Loki frames rated? Opinions welcome....
I would have thought you could sell the frame, but possibly not for loads of money - maybe a few hundred quid?
Try the tarn before you sell the loki. They're heavy and you may not appreciate the extra weight. I really like my tarn, the geometry is great, but it's noticeably heavy.
