I feel a bit sorry for Haibike tbh, all those years in that lonely furrough with just occasional visits from KTM and suchlike, trying to make it work and then it takes off and they're left in the dust. Kind of like Surly etc when fatbikes went huge.

To be fair, if it was longer and slacker with maybe a bigger fork it'd look ok.
It's better looking than some of haibike's recent monstrosities for sure!

Admittedly that's a 2021 model and the new ones look a lot better. But that one above and many like it are needlessly awful looking

lol, looking at it now it does look far better than some of the present ebike offerings.
and it was a pretty nice bike to use. managed some big old rides and tours on it whilst in full blown perm AF.
then it snapped above the upper motor mount. took me a age to get a replacement.
