Can you tell the age of a Soul frame from its serial number?

It's got the cable guides on the top

I bought my first one in 2004, and the serial number was 52 IIRC.

I'm told that the old ones dont have the "carefully designed tapered gussets" between down tube and head tube. check for those on underside of tube near head tube! ๐Ÿ˜€

Should be able to work out from the "development history" on the Soul page:

http://www.cotic.co.uk/product/soul

Tracks the tweaks to the Mk1 Soul (mine is Spring 2007 I think - 73mm but PITA dropouts). The Mk2 came in abour 2010.

Mine is a Mk 1. Easily distinguishable by the little cracks on the chainstay, radiating from the drain hole near the drop-out. Nothing that a good welder can't fix.
