Have read on here of July trail at Afan , What is this trail?
skyline with a bit but off. Look on the trail map and there are two shortcuts.
I don't know which is July, i think it is the first shortcut.
I seem to be the exception in that i prefer the skyline to the other trails at Afan.
Slightly away from the OP, but I rode the last descent on Skyline last weekend (Jetlag?) - really enjoyed it. Better IMO than Darkside (last descent on Whites). Great 'value for money' too in that if you follow the start of the Whites climb to the first fire road and turn sharp right you are straight into it. Ideal if you are knackered or reaching the end of the day or have to leave soon, but need one last fix.
iFor july, keep riding Skyline until you get to a point where skyline is signposted as both left and right. Go right for July.
The Skyline descents are immensely good! Not epic hard but there's a few bits on it that can catch you out!
