Is it still deep with snow up there? Off down to Cardiff on friday for Christmas just wondering if i should try and squeeze the bike in the car!
we have had loads of snow near cwmcarn so i guess where afan is it would be pretty bad. ur better off riding around machen area from cardiff really good place plus pretty local to cardiff
I live about 20 mins Swansea side of afan, its melting quite nicely here now.
You could try phoning the bike shop there.

No snow on the trail.
Quite muddy. The new energy section is sinking in a few places.
Glyncorrwg centre was like a ghost town. Skyline Cycles is closed until 3rd Jan. Cafe closed (Drop Off has gone for good, not sure what the new cafe is).

Rode there on Tuesday was a touch muddy but clear of snow bar a few icy patches on some fire roads, riding there tomorrow so I'll let you know after
