Bryn Teg is good/OK, but what about the new place Afan lodge on the road in between the 2 trail centres... It looks nice and I have heard some good reports...

Couple of places up the road in Neath. Beware though, it can get a bit "league of gentleman" on Saturday night:)

Afan Lodge is slap between both centres. Not stayed there myself but plan to once the little one has popped out and I can venture far from home again.

Afan lodge is great, good accommodation, good food, reasonably priced.

Best I have stayed in around Afan.

Second the Afan lodge call, it's a great place. There's a bar downstairs for Apres ride drinks. The fry up in the morning is killer and the staff are really helpful.

if you want basic self catering on the trail side try Bryn Bettws log cabins - we stayed there twice now!

second Bryn Bettws cabins.
they also have bunk houses in the main block for very resonable rates.
