That's right, no need for them to be the best handling or the best made, just the ones that look the best. Let's see some....

I reckon you can't go far wrong with something truly classic in looks;

So, aesthetics only, what tickles your fancy?

Just makes me smile and there's NOTHING like riding a Chopper inappropriately! Overtaking people on regular bikes, going fast down hill and riding pssed spring to mind!

most modern bikes look crap - that hard tail for instance.

Nice steel bikes every time

Used to hate the appearance of new-school swoopy full-sus designs with a passion but now I'm finding myself really drawn to this . . .

[img] [/img]

Maybe it's the 'I'm a lumberjack . . . ' seat

So does my bank balance and the fact that I have no need for anything with that much travel or weight to lug around . . . I still want one!! Reckon it'd be the perfect contrast to my angular orange wedge.

I was lucky enough to have a go on one of the original Boardman bikes. Crazy light, crazy fast.

something quite beautiful, about an old roaster.

[img] [/img]

Imagine that, with a lovely lady perched upon.

Ear, Flashy, did you used to run a shop off Drury Lane? Stukely, Macklin St.?

I prefer the cream coloured ones for the ladies, especially with a flouncy, flowery dress or skirt...
[img] [/img]

Nope, was on Southampton Street, dear boy. You're thinking of Covent Garden Cycles/Wheelie Serious.

Great little website with bikes in Amsterdam.

Unsuitable clothing/footwear, multiple people on bikes, mobile 'phone usage, total lack of helmets, the lot.

Ah, for London to one day be like this...

You ought to move to Holland Captain - every bike looks like that. Rack on back is a passenger seat.

Oooh yes, that Merlin is nice but why ruin it with those hideous DX spds. Oldschool pair of beartraps with leather toestraps would be much better.

I know it's already been mentioned but the Pasley Guv'nor is lush, I'd like to live in a world where these replaced cars as the favoured form of transport

[img] [/img]

Guy I know has just sold a Bonty Racelite to fund one, mind you he did have 3 (or was it 4?) Racelites in his garage.
