People

I would like to help with regard to the fitting of a Hope M4 front disc brake to a pair of Fox forks.

At present the bike has Hayes Strokers on it as pictured below.

And the hope caliper I wish to fir (for a 203 rotor) is...

I was somewhat confuded by the array of adaptors available on CRC.

Which one would I need?

Many thanks

I don't think such an adapter exists, might be wrong, though. You might be able to get a new caliper half (NOS or ebay)

Would that not push you out to a 223 rotor tho?

Post to IS mounts will always add 20mm IIRC.

Not out thursday this week Nick.

Need to pack for the hols to Kielder.

I was thinking that same mount, but it adds an extra 20mm which I dont think would work??

Perhaps just get some new SHimano stoppers?

Have you recovered from SUnday's epic??

That's a number 3 caliper which on a IS fork would run a 185mm disc so surely any of the post to IS mounts (which all add 20mm) would be spot on between that and a 205mm rotor.

Do you really need a 203 rotor for the Giant?

Sunday was fine, no worries really, only going up Stonor after 40 odd miles was a wee bit of a pain.
