My son, after a week of deliberating and texting the seller, was supposed to be buying & collecting a bike on Sunday. He has, however, just received a txt off of the seller saying as I mentioned front brake needs a bleed but I forgot to mention that the frame was cracked but has since been welded and is stronger than ever..

Gut reaction is to leave it well alone..

Discuss...

If my Patriot cracks I'll find the bestplace/take advice enough to ride it myself. The welding wouldnt be cheap. I eouldnt buy a frame from anyone else with a repaired crack. A broken collar bone etc etc is eorth more than 2k/any money in the eorlds saving.
