I came off the bike on my commute this morning. No harm except that I put an inch square hole in the waterproof overtrousers. How can I fix it? What do I need?

gaffer tape and a thimble. Cant be too careful.

Self adhesive, one on the outside and one on the inside. Cut to size.

I wasted several seconds wondering what the thimble was for 🙂
I've used a bit of gaffer/duct/fabric reinforced tape before and it works great. Functional rather than beautiful.
