...do I have to use 185mm rotors only? Reason is that I've seen a few 180mm and 184mm aftermarket rotors that I realy like.

Any thoughts or comments most welcome.

I suppose strictly speaking, no. It'll wear the pads weirdly. You could add spacers to the mount but an extra 2.5mm may be too much. not sure, may be worth a try?

I think you'd find it pretty easy to find a way of middling pad on rotor. Go for it if you want em.

yes they'll work fine, just remove one of the tri-align washers from between the caliper and the mount and you'll find it drops the caliper by a couple of mm, which lines the caliper up perfectly with a 180mm rotor.

we do it all the time for customers who want to use 180mm Imperial rotors.
