I'm looking to move from a 26er to a 29er but i'm not sure about the geometry of them.
I've got a Pipedream Sirius which I really like the geometry of (605mm TT, 69deg head angle) so would like to get something which matches that well. Due to budget constraints I'm looking at a Canyon Grand Canyon AL 6.9 for £800. I think the large frame size matches that of the Pipedream well but is it as simple as matching numbers? Is there anything else to consider?

There's seriously nothing different to consider when buying a 29er compared to when buying a 26er?
