[Closed] advice from pugsley or mukluk riders please

well I am in the market for a new bike and fancy a bit of a change. I have been eyeing up the surly Krampus as I think this would do as one bike for everything solution. my other option is to get a ss 29er for not too much money ( probably a Genesis fortitude ) and a fat bike. my question is do any of you ride your fat bike with mates on normal bikes? or is the speed difference just too much to make it feasible? I don't want to only be able to ride it on my own. I ride a variety of terrain and have a real urge to get a proper fat bike. what are your thought? haters need not reply thanks......

FWIW, I was at the Balblair Trail Centre today for the first time. Husker Dus are great for those rock sections. I could have done with a dropper post though.

Husker dus look amazing, but at 100 quid a tyre thats just crazy. it's cheaper to put a pair of tyres on my motorbike than fitting huskers to my Pug and that, is ****ed.
