Hi all,
Big topic here, I am looking to upgrade my mech brakes to something decent. I ride moreless everything!
I recently bought some Avid juicy 7's secondhand of here but the pistons where all seized so returned them. This a comment problem? made me worried about juicys now!
Other suggestions? They dont have to be the best in terms of stopping power. Would rather a super reliable brake which has decent stopping power, not to fussed on being lightweight, would rather strength

Just buy a new set of Shimano Deore/SLX and vary the rotor size if you need more/less power.

yeah, slx are pretty damn good for the money
