Just bought myself a Chameleon frame, and considering adjusting the travel on my existing 2018 140mm Revelations to nearer the manufacturer's recommendations for the frame. Am I correct in thinking that I need to swap the air shaft and the air spring, (or am I getting confused by terminology).

If I need to change the latter, then is the advice still to switch to the Debonair shaft from the Pike to improve small bump sensitivity?

yes just change the airshaft - it's one part - and yes you might as well get the debonair version e.g.

other retailers are available.

Can you not just bung in some spacers to reduce the travel like you used to be able to do in the old Solo air forks?

^^no, the travel is dictated by the length of the air piston shaft itself,, you'd need to cut and re tap to do it on the cheap, the shaft itself isn't much anyhow
