I've got a medium Trek slash and the lockout lever on the shock fouls the bottle when in the lockout position. I've tried the fabric cageless bottle which was a big improvement on her a cage but still rubbed enough to finally split the bottle on last nights ride.

So does such product exist as a bottle cage mount offset or failing that an adjustable cage?

I've used those mount Skidmore adapters. They work well

I've also used elite band-on bottle bosses. They are like very tough zip ties that fasten on with a screw to tension them. Good but probably not as firm as the MS ones.

I use one of these.

Just use the thin metal bit and ignore the plastic cover.

Think I'll give that d12 battery adapter a go, took quite low profile. Bit of a tart question but is the thin metal bit inside silver or black?

A compact 500ml bottle. Much smallet than a normal one. Use it with a Zee side loading cage
