Oh my legs!
Over did it a bit at the gym this week and my thighs are really aching. I'm off on a ride tomorrow morning...
... any tips to easy the discomfort? Warm bath, 4 Neurophen, good nights sleep etc.

Go out for an easy spin right now. Maybe ten minutes, no strain spinning will get the circulation up and help promote some healing... then the IcyHot, the bath, and the vitamin I(ibuprofen).
If I'm afraid I might not feel my best for an up coming ride, I make sure I take those riding partners out and get 'em good and wasted at the pub the night before. It's my "race to the bottom training philosophy." Good luck K.

Once the kids are in bed I might just try to get out for a spin.
Protein now then sleep to kick in GH. (Some carbs with protein.)
Takes 36hrs normally...
