out on the marin trail today.
about half the way round you cross a small stream then there is some steps you have to cary you bike up,then a small flat and then some more steps.there was a lad in front of me.
as i caried by bike up the steps he was on the flat bit on his bike.he put his foot down but he was right on the edge of about a 25 foot vertical drop down to the steam,there was no ground.
he went strait down,bounced and landed in the stream.bike looked mangled but there were lots of large rocks in the stream and he hit it hard.he was groaning but his 3 mates were with him. when i left they were trying to get to him.two other lads about 10m on had mobiles so there was nothing i could do.
iv,e never seen one this bad.
does anyone know anythig about this and if the lad was ok.
they sounded like they were from the midlands
Know the bit you mean. Hope he's ok. It's never nice to see or hear about stuff like that. 🙁
yer it was a bad one especialy as it was 3 foot in front of me.

ive been to that trail but dont remember that bit. Sometimes you just have to be too careful on the high tracks. you never know whats comin round the corner.
hope hes ok, sounds like broken bones to me... 🙁
