If I swapped my 721 rim for a 521, would I need longer spokes? Can't seem to find any info on Mavic site for the dimensions of either..Ta 🙂

you could try the sheldon brown website, there is a spoke calculator on there. its always worked for me in the past.

no,ERD is 535 for both.....

google each rim's erd (effective rim diameter), the difference will be twice the difference in ideal spoke length.

Ah, it was the ERD I was after!

tip-
if it's your first rim swap,tape the new rim to the old,with the valve holes aligned 😉
