Is there much difference between 22-11/32 and 32-11/34? Thanks.

Not really comparable? Depending on what you are using the bike for would depend on the ratio combination you need.

Was going to put 11/34 on my 1x9 which has 32 front ring, was hoping it would be similar to the granny and big ring on 11/32 cassette on my full suss?

It will make your lowest gear easier by about 4%, so not a big difference.

22:32 on your full suss is a 0.69 ratio. 32:34 is 0.94

32:34 is therefore about 35% harder than granny and 32.

By comparison, you'd be looking at granny and about 23T on your cassette which must be about 4 up from the lowest gear in granny.

I wouldn't be happy with 32:34 as my lowest gear but 22:32 is fine. You mileage may differ

32:34 would be like your 22 granny running on a 21 sprocket at the back. On a 9 speed block its roughly loosing the bottom 3 sprockets (loosing the 32, 28 and 24)

Thinner people may be more optomistic, but that doesn't change the maths...

Think I'll just leave it 32-11/32 then, sounds like it won't make as much difference as I'd hoped, fully geared bike it will be instead then,no point in making life even harder in the saddle.
