Now I've decided to buy a decent jacket for on the bike activites, and I can't make my mind up as to get an Altura Attack Extreem at around a ton or go for somethign I saw at Blacks on Sunday, a Merrell Fluid Gore Tex Paclite.
The later not being bike specific, but the fit was good and it felt really soft n' flexible, not harsh in any way, also only £90.
What would you do?
ben gave the altura a ST recommended badge in the current issue and even goes so far as to claim its the best biking jacket out there at the moment (loads of those with enduras will now pipe up and protest 🙂 )
Apart from the map pocket not being big enough for a map, I whole-heartedly agree. Spent most of december riding in France and it was excellent. My only complaint is that it does require getting wet to clean properly, you can just brush off the dried mud as it sits in the fabric.
