If your shoulders stiff I'd give it a few more days- matey had an innocous fall and ended up aggrevating bruised ligiments in his shoulder leading to surgery 😯

I'm not that much of a Jonah!! Remember mate, nearly all of us fell off at one point or another on Sunday, even Donk!! you were just unlucky.

(of course Deejay didnt. Probably the smoothest rider I have ever seen!)

i feel so unloved 😥
suspect I will be at home though without some miracoulous recovery.

Dont know what hurts more my injury or missing DONKS crash ...he would have been so far in front I would not have seen him anyway.
We had a comedy moment getting his bike off the car as we both went to lift it and realised we could not as we only had one arm each!

I know nothing about hora but this thread, in places, sounds like school boy bullying. Seems he's still improving his riding and won't be winning the megavalanche soon, but has he actually done anything to harm anyone??

Hora bashing is the STW sport, you would of thought he would of changed his name by now {like that would work sealion} but the guy just likes to be known, I bet he's tossing off to the STW video thread as we [s]speak[/s] type 😉

Its the internet. Same as down the pub. Its not meant to be serious. If someone comes onto a forum and expects it to be the realworld then they spend too much time online than with people (all IMO).
What STW video thread? Anyhow, how come you lot get to ride with two lovely lasses and all I get normally are sweaty and sweary-p*sstaking blokes?! 😕 8)

It's all light hearted banter, I like Hora, but he's been "riding" for several years now. I know we're all constantly improving, but come on.....

nbt Ive been riding since the early 90's, broke my elbow in 94- came back in 2000 after concentrating on a hobby of beer and girls for 6yrs, broke my arm/shoulder/ribs in 2003, cracked the same arm in 2007. Everytime I seem to be getting fit I go and overdo it ffs.

Very jealous, those pics look great, what was your route? Did you start in Longsdale, go up Gatesgarth, Nanbield then drop into Kentmere?

hora - come out with us again on THIS ride in August - it has a lot less climbing. By the time the climbs do come round its too far out to bail!

I think that is the first time I have seen a picture of Ton alongside normal humans for scale. I am starting to understand why he has so much difficulty getting a bike that doesn't flex. 🙂

Woooaa woooa wooooaa camouflage. things are never quite the way they seem

Ton, were you always tall at school? I remember picking a fight with a kid who was a 14yr old in a 6ft2 bricklayers body (developed well early)- he chucked me over his shoulder and I broke my wrist!
