Everyone knows you can't get seal kits for Shimano brakes. The response to this is usually to point out you can get the lever or caliper for not much more than the cost and faff of a seal kit.
Now imagine that you have the new mechanical shifter/hydro brake road lever and the lever starts leaking. Does anyone know if the hydraulics are modular and replaceable or would it be a whole new shifter (which I expect would cost way more than a seal kit)?

Check on Shimanotechdocs if you have the model number, but remember it's not necessarily available over here just because they list it as a seperate part.
