[Closed] a new bike, fun content

Ok, maybe not everyones cup of tea, but I think this might be 'the one' for me...

Its a 2nd hand patriot 66 built up with the parts from my sovereign. The guy who I bought it off had the genius idea of reducing the shock stroke to give 6" of travel, thus slackening the head angle and lowering the bottom bracket. Its pretty slack! A fair bit slacker even than my old blur 4x and it could still go slacker with the adjustable shock mount.

Like the old 4x its low, slack and long in the wheelbase but has a bit more length in the top tube for general ridng and a chunk more travel for getting lairy.

Im hoping that it combines the best bits of my recent bikes; the 'go for it' attitude of the 4x, the bombproof unshakeable feel of the sovereign and the general fun bike feel of my old 5.

First impressions down the local one minute DH track are good!
