Fancied a little project to keep me busy and sane so this has taken me about 5 weeks of tinkering. Big thanks to James who helped with the decals.

Thanks. Never a huge fan of Kawasaki green but do love raw Reynolds

Impressed with the manual paint removal,
worried about the bottom of your gate.

Nice though!

Thanks Toby, the gate is on my to do list! At least I’d cut the grass though 👍🏻

Was that Nitromors paintstripper on a steel frame ? Did you polish the frame, or just scrape the paint off ? Nice results.

Coconut - I used Synstryp which was very effective. Layer it on, wipe/scrape off the paint. Went over the bare frame with scotchbrite and rattle can lacquer. Doubt the lacquer will last very long but nice finish.
