[#2526857]

1: My new Rocky Mountain UK Special Project bike is awesome (sorry, no pics as yet).
2: My new light (Niterider MiNewt USB Cordless 250) is also awesome.
3: Horses chew bridleways up so that no one else can use them, but then again I knew that anyway. The damage they cause is far worse than any motorised vehicle (some paths had obviously been used by quads, but these were still rideable), bike, or boot.
4: Riding off-road at night can be spooky. Ever get that feeling you are being followed? 😯

Just thought I'd share 8)

I know what you mean about solo night ride paranoia. I always seem to get round my training loop a bit quicker when I'm on my own to get away from the crazed murderer following me in the darkness!

To be honest, item 3 is a particularly hot topic around here as bikes are not allowed on the Ashdown forest, but horses are (by permit). The excuse constantly being given for keeping it this way, is that bikes cause more damage to the land than horses.

Oh, yeah, another thing I found out is that I really like my new Sunline Logo grips.

If you like thicker grips then I can strongly recommend them; especially as they are only £13 from CR, as opposed to £20 for ODI ones.

Screw the nags, they might have got us the bridleways but they don't look after them very well do they?

Can you tell I've also been ploughing through a load of freshly hoof-churned mud today as well?

In fact, they've even been on the footpaths as well, the cheeky buggers!
