Pity the poor sods doing the MTL challenge! Weather looks a bit epic, glad my excess weight and lack of fitness kept me home.

That water splash over Sheddon looks pretty full. Been dunked in there once or twice.
Just behind there is a long metal raised pipe about 4ft diameter, that makes for entertaining, group riding in the wet................ 8)

Calderdale is sublime riding - just don't go there when it's wet ๐Ÿ™‚ My favourite is when it's frozen solid!

Yeh, I've never seen that watersplash that full!

Glad the route worked out. Take it Dale took you past that little hamlet where the BW goes between two of them and down 'the slug' (twisty rocky bit that spits you out in a car park?). Theres another descent from there which I think if anything I prefer. Faster and rockier but always dead slippy as its on a big sweeping corner.

Glad it sounded like a good un. Good turnout too despite the conditions!

My hangover lasted all Day. Pretty gutted really as I love a good old "laughing in the face of adversity" type of ride.

Looks like I cant make KS either ๐Ÿ™

Daughters birthday on the Monday.
