Standard CRC pricing policy - knock a wedge off an odd size so the item appears higher in price comparison site rankings.

I do have an XL noggin. (62cm) And I have tried a 661 Full Comp, and it was a bloody awful helmet. You're not missing much.

realy PP, my son has just recently bought one and likes his...but then he doesnt have a large noggin ? lol.. nice thick padding inside too for these cold evenings...
