[Closed] 9 Seater Biking Van - Any Experiences

The time has come to retire my old van and get something newer and cooler. Minimum I need is 9 comfy seats and good power for towing bikes and people up big mountains with enough boot space for 9 suitcases and assorted things like picnic tables etc. Ideally would love to be able to fold back seats and without removing them get a few bikes in without removing wheels. In my lwb traffic I can get 6 people and 6 bikes like that but I have to remove the seats.

It's hard to test them for all these characteristics so I'm wondering if anyone has any experiences. I'm looking at a Transit connect just now but can't find a LWB to test. Also looking at a VW. Any experiences? Anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks for any help.

Does your van already have the double-folding rear seats? Not sure if this is a new development or not.

Yes, it has but they take up loads of space just folded so you can't get the bikes in long ways. Removing the seats gives enough space long ways. If it was the same with the new van it's not ideal but for all the times we use the vans like that it's not a deal breaker!
