Does anyone know where i can get 8mm Hope brake hose (non braided) ready made up would be a bonus.

I think you mean 6mm.
Not available in 6mm from Hope any more, though you may find somebody has old stock hidden away. Was marked Parker Polyflex if that's of any use in sourcing it, but if you're looking for a complete set-up anyway,you could just swap to 5mm inc fittings.
LBS said its 8mm? defo alot bigger than 5mm ive got as a comparison!!
hopes used to have 6 mm now use 5mm. I could not find any more 6 mm.
If it's original Hope hose/fittings, then the LBS is wrong. Find yourself a ruler and see for yourself. 6mm is 20% wider than 5mm, so it does look a lot bigger. Could you post a picture of the fittings and some hose?
I can see an easy way the LBS could have got it mixed up, Hope sell "8mm hose guides" but it's the bolt that's 8mm not the hose, could be that. They're definately wrong though.
We had a load floating around at my old work. Phone Peter Hansfords in Winchester on 01962 877555. It should still be there, and they should have some olives and odd end connectors.
