Does anyone know where I can get one of these, without paying for a complete Avid bleed kit,or paying £30 for a Stahlwil?

Not really,it's to torque up an Elixir pipe into the lever.

Buy an 8mm ring spanner and grind part of the ring off?
I've always managed in just using a std 8mm flat spanner to do just this.

Crush the Olive! Might be a bit crunchy if you crusted it. 😳

just use one finger to tighten it then rather than a big handful of fat sausage fingers
