Hi all,
live 5 minutes from a BMX track that's route's lined with tyres, goes up & down whoops, berms & a starting gate area at the top. It's all covered in green grass & so sad to see because if someone shaped up those doubles again (after 26 years) this place would be packed. It wouldn't take much I expect - just a bit more dirt, a flattener & some drainage may be...

My council recently paid money (yes, in the recession) to rejuvenate an old park into a skate park - packed it out too...

If I could ask enough people if they'd go there & use it do you lot think a local council would listen to me seriously? Would getting the youth into a field & away from houses interest older folk into signing?

Does anyone out there have experience with petitions? Is that the best way to go about it or do I grab a shovel & just start?

Kind Regards,

Rob W
