[#9643214]

Looking for a decent alloy bar coming in at 780mm with 20-25mm rise and around £50-60.

Options I have looked at so far:

Original Renthal Fatbar
Nukeproof Horizon
Chromag Fubars OSX Riser Bar

All under budget - not heard/seem Chromags before.

Any others or opinions on the above?

Chromag stuff is quality and built to take a beating.
I had Fatbars and they were great as well.
You can't go wrong with either tbh

Got the Chromags and Renthals on my two bikes and both are great. Very similar feel. Chromag stuff is overpriced IMO.

I use Raceface atlas always been really happy with them and had several, are around 50. I have had the chromags but prefer the atlas shape.

Tried several but for me renthal are my go to bars. I do only run 10 rise but I guess that is personal preference.

I have decided on 25mm rise and not a big fan of the gold renthals so going for either the Nukeproof Horizon or the Chromags.

Both look to have quite a strong finish to them.

Shame Sunline went bust, they used to make a really nice aluminium bar.

Still use my V1 765mm flat bar.

Anyway, worth a look if you can get the right size secondhand.

Can't fault my Chromag FuBars.

Be careful though you'll be eyeing up one of their lovely but expensive stems next...

Renthal's are great, but the colour mings. Shame they don't do an all black bar.

Joystick 8Bit are a nice shape & feel too 🙂

I had a raceface 760mm bar come with my last bike purchase - 20mm rise but found it too flat / not enough backsweep.

Just put a Planet X saloon riser bar on to replace it 780mm width / 25mm rise and a degree or so more of backsweep and upsweep. Hoping to test it out this week but I had one on my last bike and it felt nice / I had no issues with it. It's also a little bit lighter than the raceface bar (not sure if this is good or bad).

I mention it as normally they are £30 but they had the 35mm clamp bar on offer for £13 which I thought was a bargain (hence buying one).
